About Didi Perry

Dianne Perry (Didi) recorded her first single “90 Mile and Hour Woman” written by Ted Wyler, produced by Gary Buck (Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame President) in 1999.  In 200 she completed her first album, “Dancing to the Radio” and the title track reached #2 on the European Country Music Association Chart that same year. She followed up by her second album “A Simple Country Girl” in 2006 written by Roy G Ownbey. “Are You Foolin’ Me Cowboy” topped the ECMA chart at #1 and earned her a nomination for Best song,  Best Female Vocalist, and Best Album of the Year in 2006.

Dianne is certified as an Elementary Specialist Teacher (Piano) with the Royal Conservatory of Music and enjoys mentoring young piano players and vocalists in her community.  She studied to become a Certified Piano Tuner in 2016  - and wow does THAT skill come in handy!

Today, she is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Music through Berklee College of Music Online, (Boston, MA) and performs locally in and volunteers for her local theatre and charity events.  Dianne was a nominee for the Arts Council of Wood Buffalo's Arts Educator Award in 2017, 2021 and 2022 and she continues to create, teach, perform and collaborate with artists and creators in Fort McMurray and around the world.
